Compare your
carrier options.

We compare options against the shipments you actually send: their cost, service requirements and the work involved in dispatch.

Discuss your shippingCapacity, digital change and operational decisions

Rates, surcharges
and dispatch work.

Surcharges, returns and dispatch work can change which offer is cheaper. We compare the same shipments and check the service requirements your carrier must meet.

Martin leads the operational brief and final recommendation. We confirm the required data, responsible analyst and reviewer before the project starts.

What the project includes
Need a depot review or more than one market?

A depot visit, a wider shortlist of local carriers in Central and Eastern Europe, or work across several countries needs a separate scope. These are not automatically included in the standard comparison of two offers.

Describe your operational question

Operational advisory at B&F

What to change
in your operation.

More people, a different process or a new system? We compare the options against your costs and constraints, then recommend what to test first.

Workshop detail from the original Brief & Field house illustration.

Capacity and costs

Where is the bottleneck?

Volume, staffing and cost scenarios, with assumptions, constraints and effects on the next part of the operation.

Digital change

Is a new system worth the investment?

Compare a process change, automation and the current setup. Identify what must hold for an investment to pay off.

Operational pressure

What needs attention now?

A diagnosis, priorities and decision scenarios. Identify the first check and who should own the next step.

From evidence
to a decision.

The process, someone who knows it, available operating data and your decision deadline. We review a sample together, then agree the study’s scope, fee and delivery date.

You receive a comparison, traceable assumptions and a recommendation. A proposed pilot defines what to measure and when to assess it. Modelled savings are not achieved results; running the pilot is a separate scope.

Who leads the work and what follows

Martin Vaverka leads the B&F brief and recommendation. Your team or chosen provider can use the output. If STRJ takes on the next stage, Michal Sýkora leads technical scoping and implementation under a separate agreement. Taking over management or daily operations belongs with STRJ.

If you have already discussed the brief with STRJ, there is no need to write it again. Agree the next step and any handover with Martin.

Implementation with STRJ ↗

What decision
is coming up?

A carrier choice, a capacity constraint or a process change. Start with the situation, your deadline and the information you have.
