Segmentation & positioning
Who to sell to. With which offer.
Before a rebrand or a sales expansion, establish which customers to prioritise and why they would choose you.
What you receive
You receive defined segments, offer and positioning options, and recommendations on which channels to test. For commercial growth, we can include unit-economics scenarios with traceable assumptions.
We start with the current offer, customer evidence and the cost and margin data available to you.
Customer journey
Where the purchase stops.
People notice the offer but misunderstand it, hesitate or leave without buying. We investigate what happens at those moments.
What you receive
You receive a map of the critical decisions, findings from agreed interviews or observations, and prioritised changes with a plan to test them.
We choose one journey and customer group, then agree access to the people, locations or evidence involved.
Mystery shopping
What your guest experiences.
What happens during a restaurant visit, from the first contact to payment? An independent observation against agreed service criteria.
What you receive
You receive a visit record, specific observations and recommendations tied to what was seen. One visit does not describe the whole operation.
We agree the venue, scenario, criteria and visit scope. This project has its own fee, including agreed visit expenses.
We scope and price each study against the question, available evidence and expertise required. Below is one defined project with a fixed fee.
One proposition, one adult customer segment and six remote interviews of 30–45 minutes. One language: English or Czech. The fee applies to this specific scope.
US · USD
$4,500
UK · GBP
£3,500
EU · EUR
€4,000
2–3 weeks from the agreed start date with complete inputs and participants booked. Recruiting delays extend the calendar.
Fixed fees for this scope, excluding applicable taxes and approved external costs. Separate currency price lists, not live exchange-rate conversions. Remote delivery in English or Czech; we agree the billing currency and start date before work begins.
One consolidated review round within the agreed scope is included. We walk through the output with you, including a changed assumption or new scenario, so your team can use it.
What we need
You provide the proposition, relevant context and six suitable participants with confirmed availability. Recruitment and participant incentives are outside the fee.
Scope limits
Qualitative insight from six people; no population percentages, statistical conversion claim, survey, campaign delivery or redesign.
Inputs and scope for a broader study
Your offer, intended customers, current messaging and channels, available customer evidence, the decision date and access to the people or locations involved. We agree recruitment, consent, visits and any external costs before starting.
For another question, we confirm the scope, fee, expertise and delivery window first. A decision pilot can examine a small sample before a larger study. It is optional, priced separately and has no automatic fee credit.
We distinguish what participants said or an observer saw from our interpretation. Each recommendation identifies its evidence, remaining uncertainty and a practical test. A small qualitative sample does not establish population percentages or sales uplift.
Identity design, a website build, campaign operation, CRM setup, recruiting and managing salespeople are implementation scopes with STRJ. They are not included in an advisory study. Interviews, segmentation, channel strategy and a mystery visit are alternative or separately agreed methods, not one all-inclusive package.
Scope, payment and changes
The written engagement confirms the scope, inputs, billing currency, start date, payment schedule and acceptance criteria before work begins. Recruitment, incentives, specialist review, paid data, translation and travel are approved extras. A new question, country, dataset format or larger sample requires a separately agreed price before additional work starts.
Martin Vaverka leads the B&F brief, scope agreement and case. We confirm the responsible lead, reviewers, relevant expertise and calendar before accepting the project. Michal Sýkora leads technical scoping and implementation at STRJ.
Any follow-on work has its own agreed output and responsibility. Your team or chosen supplier can use the study. We share the agreed brief with an implementation team only with your permission.

From the study to delivery.
Already have a brief with STRJ? We can continue from it. There is no need to fill it in again; we agree any sharing with another team first.
Martin Vaverka leads the B&F brief and scope agreement. We walk through the recommendations, their assumptions and the next step with you.
Your team or chosen supplier can take the study forward. Delivery with STRJ has its own scope and responsibility; Michal Sýkora leads the technical work.
